A Family Practice Nurse is a Registered Nurse, who is able to practice within the full scope of nursing practice. They are involved in performing minor procedures and providing health assessment/management in person and over the telephone. Other than being advocates for our patients, they are also actively involved in disease prevention.

A Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse with an advanced university education and additional certification and license that authorizes them to independently provide an expanded scope of medical practice. They can also prescribe medications. They have a unique, holistic approach to care that addresses the physical, emotional, mental and social aspect of your health. NP’s are also well qualified to do your physicals, well women, well men and well-baby visits.
Pharmacist

A Pharmacist has the expertise and training to provide professional services to ensure the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications. As the drug experts, they work in collaboration with Family Physicians and other Health Care Providers in order to optimize medication therapy for patients especially with chronic diseases (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, anticoagulation). In addition, they provide health promotion (e.g. smoking cessation) and are actively involved in disease prevention.

A Dietitian is a Health Professional who can provide advice on nutrition, food and healthy eating choices to help you look good and feel great. They take complex medical and nutrition research and make it easier for you to make daily food choices and plan healthy meals.
